bloody chickens
My mum's afraid of chickens. All because when she was little, her brother chopped off chickens heads and made her stand amidst them while they ran around her, heads chopped off. I can't imagine that'd make anyone feel cosy around the birds.
But this guy, Randy Wise (Harvard, M.B.A) suggests that chickens who wear red contact lenses not only eat less and produce more, but also fight less. I can't help but wonder if we made chickens wear contact lenses, if that would make my mum feel more comfortable, while also boosting the egg industry... maybe??

Or... it could possibly just make chickens look scarily demonic and frighten even more kids into having issues with chickens later on in their lives... but my mum would be okay, so...

Personally, I always think rear headlights look like demon eyes, but maybe that's just me... too many hours watching 'tales from the crypt' when i was little methinks.
