ok that was a funny/fun game - although I had to turn the speaker down, the bleating kinda got to me (as did the sudden plethora of baaaaaad sheep puns :op - thanks :) - doc
Hey, glad you started a new blog ^_^
so, this might be annoying, but since I missed a few posts, I'm just going to throw a lot of random comments onto this one =Þ
-1st, cute pic of you and hayley
-2nd, i've said before that you have an amazing mind and perspective on life, so combine a good mind with being cute and the fact that you seem like you're generally just nice to people, so it's no wonder guys find you desirable... as menelaus said, people tend to suck at reading signs, so being nice to a guy who finds you attractive, well, he might read more into it because he wants there to be more to it, y'know? Basically, as menelaus said again, if you're not being overly flirtatious with a guy you're not interested in, then i agree, it's not your problem...
oh, and as far as fiction goes, personally, I think people let a movie engulf them - there's maybe an expectation to be moved, and so it's easier to just get lost in it and give in to the moments... in life, things aren't usually so clear cut as to say, "he's the hero of the story who lost the girl and we should feel bad for him" or anything like that... when it comes to emotional moments that involve us, well, emotions are confusing and generally overlapping, so you might be sad, confused, angry, and maybe even somehow happy all in the same moment, so what's the proper response?
-3rd, I got the drunk to 68 at best, but I feel like I could do better if I wasn't on a laptop touchpad ^_~
-I'm gunna stop counting here, but next: congrats on finishing another semester! always nice to be done for the moment, heh
-my sister is 23, getting married in november, and has lived several hours away from home for 5 years now... yet every time she comes home, she drags me to the toy store so she can look through the "my little pony" dolls, and watches all the newest Disney movies, currently being in love with the Stitch character... I don't know that she'll ever feel like an adult, and I sort of hope she never does... she's as responsible as she needs to be, but she still feels like the same older sister I had a decade ago... maybe adulthood is just taking on all the responsibilities of life, and realizing you're still the same person at heart that you were when you were 7 years old... heh, well, maybe that's naïve, but so long as I don't feel like an adult yet, I still like that idea ^_^
-I cheated and turned the laptop upside down =Þ
-Finally, and this will be the most important part of all this rambling and any rambling I leave for you: take care Hil~
~Mike
P.S. I'll try to keep up with comments better in the future so they don't bunch up like this, heh ^_^
