In less than an hour I'll be doing my last assesment for university.
How much am I freaking out? A lot. Why? I have no idea.
I thought I adapted well to change... perhaps not. :S

I am so envious.
I have 2 and a half more years until my last assesment.
About 25% of the US population have a university degree, so I'd say you've accomplished something very important in your life.
Congrats for making it.
P.S. Based on GradStats, your country's website for uni grads, I'd say your future is pretty bright.

menelaus, what do you do when you're uncertain about something that you need to be certain about?
what do you do when you know you have to ask the hard question, but are scared of the answer you'll receive?
I wish i were a mindless hermit sometimes. Things would be simpler then.

Well, I must mention that some things will never be certain. However, if there is some certainty to be had, I just search for it until I find it. If, at some point, I realize there are too many variables to arrive at certainty, I just pitch my tent at the closest campground.

You may be surprised by the answer, even if you think is isn't what you want to hear. Here's my advice: Just ask. The answer will be the same whether or not you actually hear it, so you may as well know the answer. Knowing is the path to certainty.
Mindless would be terrible. Imagine walking through a field of different varieties of flowers. Then, imagine being allergic to a third of them. The stroll wouldn't be all pleasant, but if you avoided the field completely, you'd miss the other two-thirds, which are probably wonderful.
Don't avoid the field just because you may sneeze a few times along the way. (was that enough symbolism for one post? I think so.)
