yet another "rant"

I think there's a certain beauty within things that people assume are wrong that surpasses typical beauty. It's almost as if, in that 'mistake', perfection is redefined and everything is as it should be. A perfect letter with no mistakes doesn't tell me as much as the same letter with errors, and words, or even paragraphs crossed out. I think there are some people that i've come to know of on the internet that don't know this. Take 'garwy' for example. He critiques young girls poetry with a harsh red pen at a level expected of an intelligent person of his age, yet he doesn't seem to consider any of the factors behind the poetry itself. He sees a flawed painting and dismisses because it has the wrong contrasts, the wrong tones, when sometimes it are the flaws themselves that are beautiful. I'm not saying go tell every poet you see that they're brilliant, but what's the point in belittling them?
If I only respected the barbies of the world, the world would be a very plastic one indeed.

Comments:
People can only see through their own eyes. Perception is their filter. What you consider perfect, I may consider flawed.

Keep in mind, Garwy has the same limitations.
