it's the eve of the eve of christmas eve
It rained today. They were fat raindrops that didn't just plot onto the ground, they moved it, soaked into it, and will, with no doubt change the earth it landed on. Fresh green shoots will pop up and make the landscape just a little bit prettier, and the farmers a little happier, and therefore will make me a little happier.
The rain was so thick today that it filled the air. Usually, I detest humidity, but this was something you could not possibly detest, because I had not tasted rain in so long, had not felt it tickle my cheek as in slid down my face, had not stepped out of a car and stood in a puddle accidently in... I have no idea how long.
It rained today, and I felt whole.
