death.

okay, so here's a thought: death is hereditary. I know it's an obvious one, but bare with me. So if death, just like distinguishing features and human instincts are hereditary and unavoidable, then why worry about them so much? Nobody really wonders if they're attracted to the good looking guy over at the bar because he's sending out healthy pheromones, do they? So why stress so much over death? Perhaps because it's avoidable, but only to a certain degree, no? Just like facial surgery for distinguishing features, and staying away from attractive guys, for human instincts.

everything is avoidable, on a certain level. so why not thoughts of death?

Comments:
Thinking about something completely out of our control is a waste of thinking resources.

Death is inevitable, but I'm certainly not going to give it life while I'm living.
