the latest:
got a new job. I think (maybe?) this is a good thing, but to tell you the truth, unemployment had it's beautiful moments, even though that only lasted a few weeks. *sigh* I'll keep you posted on how it goes. First shift on Sunday where I get $25 an hour, plus tips. (This, in Australia, is good.)
Straight after the interview I ran into a guy I used to have a huge crush on in high school. He asked me out last year and I turned him down, and he's back in town again. I told him I'd have a drink with him, but just as friends.
I've been getting references from people I know for when I go overseas, and i'm feeling all warm and fuzzy as a consequence. Turns out everyone thinks i'm lovely. (Maybe there's a crack expo on in Echuca and I missed the memo.) :P
jo will be around soon. til next rant... x

Congrats on the new job!
Unemployment in the short-term feels like vacation. Unemployment in the long-term can be bad for morale. Besides, a new job provides a new source of stories to tell us.
When overseas, I'm sure you'll have a great time. Maybe, you'll even start to believe you're lovely too.
