spintime

i'm back in the city i went to uni in for 3 days. Is this a good thing? Possibly. I seem to be noticing the eclectic lifestyle that seems to be absent in echuca. op shops and fruit markets are sitting next to trendy cafes and artist-run spaces, the emo's are rubbing shoulders with the snobby buisness crowd, the tattoo artist give me a wave because he remembers talking to me randomly one time when I was at a wine bar, and, if there were any judgemental people, they are hiding, because there doesn't seem to be any of them in site. Perhaps this is why i loved Bendigo so much, and continue to tell myself over and over again "echuca is temporary, echuca is temporary..." until one day, finally it will be an addition to my mantra collection along with "you are okay", "you can forget" and "soon.8"

i think i'm happy i'm here. talk again in a few days. x

Comments:
Happy isn't a place. It's a state of mind.

Have fun.

haha - yeah, happiness is a journey, not a destination, or something... I can't imagine Echuca could be that bad? Surely there's bits about it that are better than Bendigo?

a state of mind that seems to often occur when i'm in bendigo.

:P

and yes, there are some things i prefer about echuca. I'll try remember.

i can't believe i wrote "site". what a dumbass. heh
