lyrical work rant:
at the bar i work at
i saw you staring at me,
while i was dancing to a song
cos' it made me happy.
you didn't seem to notice
i wasn't doing my job,
yeah, i'm in the wrong profession-
i'm not a wine snob.
you smiled my way,
and i smiled back.
you thought i was skinny,
cos' my uniform is black,
but you got the wrong impression,
you're just attracted to my job,
i'm in the wrong profession-
i'm not a wine snob.
i pour a lot of merlot,
but i drink a lot of beer.
because of loud jazz music
I really can't hear
when you say "tried the pinot noir?"
or "can you have a glass on the job?",
you should be aware
that i'm not a wine snob.
so go talk to the other girls,
cos' i'm sure you'll make them blush,
with the creamy words you're saying
they're sure to get a crush,
but if you talk to me
you won't make my heart throb,
cos' unlike the other girls
i don't wanna be with a wine snob.

Wine snobs have their place in society. I know a few and I enjoy their company most of the time.
What I found interesting about the rant was that the only two choices were 'wine snob' and 'beer drinker'.
Is that all there is?

Don't worry about not coming back to the pub later, Smythy and I were so drunk we really didn't remember too much in the morning (fact: couldn't even remember if I actaully sent the message to you, of if I just wrote it :D )
