got this in an email today:

Work Yesterday:
My ex bosses rang me and asked me to work for them because one of their parents died. So, me: "no problem." The girl that was meant to be working called in sick. ( i swear she wasn't...) and the other people i rang to ask if they could fill in were in different states - so i worked on one of the busiest days of the year by myself. *pats herself on the back* I may or may not have faked a sprained wrist and closed early though.
Man, i'm tired. I think i might go have a nanna nap.

so, completely unrelated to this post, i'm curious about your upcoming trip... what're your plans for when you'll be on my side of the globe? are you going as part of some tour group, or *completely* on your own? either way, heading halfway around the world without company is quite impressive, so far as i'm concerned (then again, just leaving the country would be impressive to me, given my limited travel experience, heh)... and if you think you'll be near trenton in jersey at all, i've got a couch and a stove if you'd want a free place to crash or a home-cooked meal at all (i don't really expect you to take me up on that offer, since you don't really know me, but i figure to throw it out there just in case (and if you really are interested, let me know before you leave and i'll get you my cell number so you can get a hold of me))... anyways, take care, and incase i don't comment again before you leave, have a safe and fun trip...
