bits and pieces.
Thought: the sweetest pineapple is one that is left alone, either to rot, or simply because it is forgotten. Abandonment is not always the end, especially if you're fruity.
In the lost and found box there is a pair of red lacey underwear. As soon as I saw them, my mind started making up hypothetical stories about how they came to be in a milk-crate in the sign in room at work. A customer having fun with another customer? A employee getting changed and are now too embarrased to claim said underwear? A hidden passtime of my boss...? (scratch the last one. I don't want to think about it.)
I watched 'Amelie' again yesterday. Gosh I love that movie. That's how I see life a lot of the time. And it makes me smile, because it's like the world saying "it's okay, Hilary, we get the way you think, and it's acceptable, at least to a few of us." I have the same remote control as Amelie. I wonder it's as much of a dud as mine is.
