"to understand other people, you must first know yourself."

*I wear my socks inside-out, because I can't feel the seams that way.
*My eyes turn from hazel to green when I cry.
*Sometimes I laugh at people who say quotes while they think i'm laughing at the quote.
*I don't have a favourite flower. (sunflower? daisy? lilly? even now...)
*I didn't think many people thought much until I turned 16.
*Barney scares me.
*Snakes and spiders do not.
*I've never broken a bone, but sometimes wish I had just so I know what it feels like to have a part of you shatter in a non-metaphorical way.
*The biggest thing I regret in my life was when I scratched my sister when I was in grade 2.
*I don't believe in soul-mates, heaven, hell or santa; am doubtful about ghosts and think the concept of the tooth-fairy is creepy. Think about it.
*Every night before I go to bed, I fill a glass half-way with water, have a mouthfull, and pour the rest down the sink. It's one of my semi-o.c.d things.
*I hate being called young, yet constantly am called it.
*The most irritating thing, or one of at least, is when you say something, and people mis-hear you, and assume that you actually said what they heard, when, clearly, you didn't.
*I do not have an American accent, despite what some say.
*I wanted to learn the violin when I was little, and still do.
*After 13 years of piano lessons, I can't read sheet music any faster than a 2nd year piano student. I play by ear.
*I still imagine things in the dark, but have more bravery to face them now.
*I sing yellow submarine often, yet don't like it at all.
*'Monster mash', 'bohemian rapsody' & 'i'm the one who wants to be with you' are underrated as brilliant songs.
*I know nobody's probably reading this, "and frankly, my dear..."

:)

*I hate smiley faces.

Comments:
i feel like bohemian rhapsody gets the respect it deserves, at least amongst those i know, because it *is* brilliant, and does deserve respect for being just so...

the other two, however, are certainly underrated...

on a related note, i just learned that my 6 year old cousin, who i saw this weekend for the first time since she was 3, *loves* the beatles, the ramones, and pink floyd... quite frankly, my 6 year old cousin has *much* better taste in music than many of my twenty-something year old friends...

~mike

p.s. kudos on the fearlessness of snakes and spiders - you're certainly one up on me there ^_~ (of course i had to include a smiley of some sort because of your last line)...

hahahah, 'frankly my dear' - that was on the flyer tonight.

Frankly my dear, you'll see there are no more bullets left in this gun. [Vague reference to a movie no body has seen][am loving the square brakcets]

mike, i think i want to be friends with your kid cousin more than i am currently friends with some of My friends. Isn't that awful?? Hey, at least i'm not agist, right? I figure, everyone's afraid of a certain number of things. I'm not afraid of spiders, but nail files freak me out majorly. Odd, i'm aware. So, at least your fears are normal.

and svd- bullets? guns? che?

play it again, sam. oh wait, you haven't seen casablance, have you?!
