pro or against citylife?
why the hell do people press the crossing button when i quite clearly have already pressed it? The light is on, and it's not as if i just like standing next to traffic light crossings for shits and giggles. Seriously.
I've decided to go back to university. Not because I want to be a uni person again. I really don't. I've decided to go back because i really want to do this counselling thing. I want to be a psychologist. Man, this is going to hurt. I guess I could travel during the holidays at the end of each year... maybe. I need to go back to the states and canada, and i want to go to ireland now, and some of europe, and one day to south america. one day.
I want to much. But i'd be an alien if i didn't, right? Well... I guess aliens want things too...

According to most sci-fi movies ever made, aliens all want to invade earth!
At least this time around you know what uni will be like, the expectations and the time constraints, and you are there with a purpose other than to get a degree, so you will have the motivation to keep doing it! And hon, you have heaps of time to see and do all the things you want to do, one of which is become a psychologist. And if you need to go to uni again to achieve these dreams, its what you've got to do!
See you on Saturday!!

i have no idea where it came from, but i fully support the supporting of gummy bears and all of their deliciousness...
so far as the cross walkers go, i always used to find it funny when i would walk up to a classroom door where people i recognized from my class were waiting outside the door, and i wouldn't try the handle (having properly determined that they were outside because the door was locked)... i found it funny because you could always see at least one person whose eyes would shift between myself and the door, clearly curious as to why i hadn't tried it myself (thankfully for them, it wasn't usually long before another person from the class would show up, notice all of us, walk through the crowd and try the door for him/her-self)... i do wonder how much of it is a "a must know for myself" type compulsion, versus how much is a "i don't trust these people to either not be playing a trick on me or not be smart enough to try the obvious themselves"... i must say though, if people naturally trusted that i'd tried the handle, i'd make it a point to show up early one day, make sure the door was open, then simply sit outside to watch others wait in kind (so, i suppose it's good that they don't trust me ^_^)
and so far as going back to school goes - your doing it so you can do something you want to do and will probably like, so that'll make it worth the suck of going back... a few years (if that) going back to school so you can do something you want is better than "not wasting time" by not going back and thus being stuck for a career (many more than a few years) doing something you don't really like, y'know?
