theory:
if you're bored with your life, write down everything you're doing with it, and stop doing it. rewrite your list and do them instead.
thoughts?
thoughts?

i feel like that's one of those "easier said than done" things - plus, if it does work, i feel like the results would be short-lived (i.e. you try different things for, like, a week, before falling back into routine and habit) - though, even if the effects are only short lived, i think it's a good idea to change your direction and pace every once in a while...
assuming you've made such a list to prompt this entry, feel like sharing the biggest thing(s) from each list? what's the thing you need to stop doing more than anything else? what would you rather be doing instead of anything else?
and whil i don't think i have to say it, i'll say it anyways: make sure that writing never winds up on that first list, k?

roberto, i'm not tired of the blog, but sadly for me, the laptop that i have... oh wait, that's right, i don't have one. I have a H&R appointment friday, and then that money - i'm thinking it's going to be around 1700, can go to my baby. (Obviously not an actual baby. Can you seriously see me with a baby anytime soon??) no.
and "mike", (which I can't help but say with a smile on my face), writing will never be on the first list. actually, for the past few nights, i've been waking up at around 3am with an idea, writing down the basics and then going on with it later. It's been pretty cool. The latest one was about 2 lesbians who would be perfect for each other except they don't realise that the other is gay as well, with a kind of amelie narative. it's kind of different, which considering my writing has been sludging out at about 2 kms per hour... err... miles for you, then that's a good thing, no?

i don't know why that puts a smile on your face, but I'm glad it does ^_^ also, i feel like the best ideas come when you're dreaming - or at least when you're not consciously trying to think, but just letting your mind flow like when you're dreaming... it's a shame dreams fade so fast - they're usually quite entertaining (if not always sensical)... and, if you don't mind some offensive language, your latest 3am idea made me think of a webcomic i like to read: http://xkcd.com/65/
and talking about dreaming made me think of a nonoffensive strip in the same series: http://xkcd.com/203/

any writing is better than nothing, 2 km/mi per hour or not - and different writing is always fun... i got into the habit of keeping a written journal in the first half of this year while i was still at school, and just sitting down to let thoughts flow for at least 20 minutes a day eventually led to considering things or looking at things differently than when the same thoughts kept spiraling infrequently around inside my head without room to grow... i've unfortunately gotten out of that habit between traveling after school ended and then landing a grown-up, office-type job =/ writing anything at all would certainly be at the top of my second list... why is it the habits that are good and interesting are the easiest to break, while the ones that waste away your life are the hardest? ah well, speaking of work, i should get back to it before my supervisor peeks over my shoulder ^_^

man, i really liked that comic. (esp the 'offensive one'.) (does that make me offensive - to enjoy the offensive, does that then make you in turn offensive?)
anyway - you should def start your 2nd list. Esp if writing is on the 2nd list. writing is beyond love, writing is... cookie dough at 4am when you've had too much to drink, writing is figuring out the name of the person after you've been trying to think of it for over an hour, writing is when one of those perfect songs play when you haven't heard it for ages...
writing is beyond love.
