the modern man- paranoid?
recently, my interactions with men have indicated two things, the first being that i attract strange people, the second being that these people seem extremely insecure. I'm not sure why. If i'm at work, and they call or text me, if i don't reply / call back within 5mins, i tend to get one of the ollowing:
"aren't you talking to me anymore?"
"did i do something wrong?"
"are you talking to someone more important than me?"
...occasionaly there will be a "haha" included in there, but even then, there's meant to be 10% truth to every joke/ lie, right?
somewhere along the line, male and female roles seemed to have reversed. I used to be the woman that hovered around the dial up phone, awaiting her beau's call. Now...
*sigh* Where has their confidence gone?
