Hey, I saw that too, in the one second of Olympics coverage/reply I accidentally saw at work today. :) Coincidence!
 

don't you worry that we put too much emphasis on it all? Surely that should have been a private moment?

Also, what the hell is all this prestige we give to our athletes anyway? Why do we write about them so much OUT of their competition. Let them run/swim/shoot, write about that. Let them win, write about that. Let them stand on the podium and I spose you can write about that. But I don't care about Jana's baby, bung knee, or the latest case against Ian Thorpe's sexuality or whether or not Michael Phelps actually said he was going to get 9 medals.
